Whoa, bev! You must have broken your caps lock! Lind drawers, especially felt lind, are super hard to find any more. What a bargain at more money than I would spend on just about any furniture. I think Sparkette has been sniffing the varnish, but I wish her luck. I am a little confused about the chairs. Are there six AND two arm chairs? Maybe I better get a few extra chairs, just in case.

  1. Ah Felt Lind….little known Swedish furniture maker. He was famous for his Mint line which is recognizable by its large number of drawers, interior lighting of the hutch and chairs which appeared when the table leaf was inserted and vanished when it was removed.

    • Don’t you just love bev”s daring and innovative sense of style in mixing heavy, dark and garish wood furniture in a home with IKEA-ish Scandinavian style kitchen cabinets? Here in Texas, most people would take one look and pronounce, “well, that kitchen’s gotta go!!!!”

Besides….don’t they need that table and chairs back on the set of Wolf Hall?

  2. I really prefer my furniture with basil conditioning, and maybe a dash of thyme and some fresh parsley. Damn, now I want to cook up some nice armwars for dinner but I’m fresh out.

  3. Hey, I could use a tub chair and ottoman made from a large dum… er, large drum and very interesting shape. Who knew dum…er, drums had so many interesting shapes?

  4. The Ottomans could create quite a din with their drums, but these tubs look more like newer wheelie bins. Did they once contain crude? That would be wheelie hazardous.

  5. Ah, dinning chair. How I’ve missed you. You will always remind me of the naivete I once had believing people on Craigslist knew what the hell they were doing. Of course once you opened my eyes and washed away my dreams of an online Utopia, I almost couldn’t find a single well-constructed, accurate, intelligible ad. Thanks for coming by and reminding me of what I once had. While I have forgiven you for destroying my dreams, please understand if I only kinda glare at you from a distance.
