This blog has been about the struggle of class against class. It has been about the futility of breading pets. It has been about Sparky’s inhumanity. Today we look at all those pets who don’t get enough unwanted attention.
Adult Pug (Vogon, CA)
Very beautiful Pug for sale. Cannot take her on our journey called Life, however we are looking to give her to a loving family who will give her all the unwanted attention she needs. Looking for serious buyers only. We will only sell to those who really want to take her in. $300 obo text me at XXX-XXX-XXXX.
Yeah, whoever buys her will be taken in, that’s for sure. Where are we going to find 300 obos at this time of day? Life. Don’t talk to me about life.

Curiouser and curiouser — there are pugs available for adoption for $50-90.
The puppy stores want $700-900.
The “breeders” (yeah,we’re legit, papers’n’all, lemme put paper Inna printer…) are listing around $500-700.
So, a couple of bassoons and a goodly woodwind section almost sounds reasonable (if a tad baroque 🙂 )

I never really got onto pugs. They became popular in the early 1990’s. I had graduated from high school already and moved on to more childish endeavors. From what I understand though, you don’t sell pugs, you win them using a slammer.

Oh, wait. Never mind. Do obos really cost $300?

Darn it, I spent my last obo on Wednesday’s post.
Sparky, there are lots of words to describe a pug, but beautiful wouldn’t be one of them.
