Post 411: Information, Please

If you are being harassed and followed around by a loud, obnoxious creature who can’t seem to take care of itself, you have two choices. Send it to live with your parents or see if anyone lost said creature. Look on Craigslist. Even a Sparky can do it.

I FOUND A CAT

So I still have someone’s cat. It’s cute, I like it. I want it. But, if it was my cat, I’d be heartbroken if it didn’t come home.

I’ve been searching a lot of pet-related lists trying to find this cat’s home and I haven’t had any luck. No one posting about this cat being missing, and no one replying to my posts. I’ve attached a picture of the cat to this post, and I’d like it if some of you could maybe boost the signal or something.

If you can describe the cat’s white pattern to me, or send me a pic of the cat, I would love to send it home. Or not. I love this cat. I’m not sure I can even have a pet where I’m moving on Tuesday and I don’t want to send it to the SPCA.

CAT: SEPIA-TONED.
YOUNG. 8 MO – 1 YR.
FOUND BY KINGSWAY AND RENFREW.
PROBABLY LIKES PURDY’S.
WHITE PATTERNING ON ITS LEGS. DISTINCTIVE.
INFINITE ENERGY. I CAN’T KEEP UP.
LONG, SNOOTY FACE. POOFY TAIL AND NECK-FUR. LIKES BITING THINGS.
SHOULD PROBABLY GO HOME OR GET A JOB.
LOUSY, ADORABLE CAT.
PLEASE COME GET YOUR CAT BEFORE I LOVE IT FOREVER.

I can’t describe the white pattern but I can send you a pic of the cat. I have two, now. Well, much as I would love to have a cat, even a snooty-faced poofy-tail bitey cat, I’ll have to pass. As submitter NinjaChow said, I love this ad! Hope Sparky decides to keep him after all.

  1. The best part is that the cat probably likes Purdy. How do you know Sparky, has he turned up his nose at your Mars bars, only premium chocolates good enough for him?

  2. Sparky: boosting the signal is a great idea; try a cat scan at any vet to see if it has a chip. If not, you might want to consider a rabies shot since it likes biting things. For the cat, too.
