Say, Betina, why don’t we sell your daddy’s tools and get the money for snacks when we move?
Oswald, that’s a swell idea. How much is his wrench worth?
Mebbe $20. It is Snap-On, says so right there.
Be sure to take enough pictures to prove it’s worth the price.
Oswald (mumbling) 5 goes into 20 4 times. That ought to do it. How about this hammer?
Thanks, OMV, for this find and the title. If this Sparky put as much energy into the rest of his life as he did for this CL ad, he’d be a brazillionaire by now.
I’m a little suspect about the length — I’ve been told “it’s 12 inches” before and it never is.

This ad probably informs more about the local price of contraband than the resale value of tools.

Hmm, Spark’, I can get a wrench kust like that, new, for $10.95 & tax.
Howabout this slice of last night’s pizza?

Rufruf, oh, how hated his slave-name, but not so much as riding in the deathtrap the two-legs insisted on operating. And repairing themselves, in an ever-decreasing spiral of effectiveness.
But, now, he had a Plan. If he could sell the tools the two-legs “used” they’d have to stop their ill-advised machinations. (“Machination” was such a good dog word, chewy, like a kong filled with crunchy peanut butter.)

Wrench for sell not cheap
In fact, twice the street value
Sigh, no soup for you!

This particular Sparky had several ads. One for each tool he was selling. Apparently couldn’t make one ad for various tools. Sparky believes, like cars, the parts are worth more than the whole.

Our car is so packed with our stuff, there’s absolutely no room for this wrench. In fact it’s the wrench that broke the camri’s back axle.

I might pay $20 for a snap-on wench, but not a wrench.
