ROT IRON GLASS TOP TABLE – $85
ROT IRON GLASS TOP TABLE AND FOUR CHAIRS.
IN LIKE NEW CONDITION VERY THICK GLASS TOP
FOUR CHAIRS IN ROT IRON CONSTRUCT-ION
Wow, dude, I can see clear through the top of that table! And I don’t see any rot at all. Not on the chairs, either. It’s like, wow, new stuff. If OMV hadn’t said it’s got dry rot, I wouldn’t have known there was anything wrong with the iron.
Thanks, One, good thing you spotted it.
Those stray ions are the debil for causing corrosive oxidation.

The work of Wrights is said to be wrought.
One wonders what work noun has the description “rot.”
Oh wait, that just has to be “politico” . . .

“VERY THICK GLASS TOP”
How thick can it be? Not as thick as Sparky. Brain rot indeed.

I might wonder if the iron in my food causes it to rot if not kept under constant refrigeration.

It seems you can construct iron ions in any oxidation state from -2 to +6, although +2 and +3 are most common. Sparky needs to be more specific about the state of his rot iron. And it’s not Denmark.
