Post 780: Back to Work

1920’s writing/craft desk & homemade bookshelf
have a desk I have had for 20 years. It’s from 1920, is compact (3.5 feet high, 1.75 ft deep, 3 ft wide), solid walnut.
It’s in okay shape, one working but busted drawer. Very very stable though! You could stand on it. Real good for a craft desk or laptop.
With it is a bookshelf made from the door of an old house that was demolished near me. Slightly wider, fits over top. 5 feet high.
Take them away! They are only outside today because we are moving. They haven’t lived outside.

Submitter NinjaChow has some doubts about this offering. “Indoor desk, is that like an indoor cat? Okay shape, really?” Yes, this petite indoor desk has been cast out with only an old door turned shelf for company. I don’t think the desk will be stable for long. Horses don’t usually need laptop or craft desks. Oh, what sad times are these when passing Sparkies can say Take them away! at will to old bits of furniture. There is a pestilence upon this land, nothing is sacred. Even those who arrange and design satire are under considerable economic stress in this period in history. Happy Last Monday of 2019!
