From the San Diego dot Gov web page: There’s really only one thing you need to know about consumer fireworks: all consumer fireworks are illegal in the City and County of San Diego. That includes sparklers, firecrackers, cherry bombs, bottle rockets and even poppers. All consumer fireworks are illegal in the City and County of San Diego.
Which is why Sparky called them decorations. For me, if you manage to sell these and the buyer ends up in jail, that would be a guaranteed crowd-pleaser here. Even better if he IDs the seller.
It’s also possible that Sparky doesn’t have travel plans and that he got cold feet at the last minute. Public Service Announcement, don’t go to Sparky’s friends’ houses tomorrow.
Once again we see CL derangement Syndrome, where the presumption of anonymity permits any level of lawlessness imaginable.
What poltroon drops close to half a grand on illegal fireworks and then develops travel plans to prevent firing them off? Traveling was going to be required, as some one in the trailerpark would be likely to notice. Or the goffoons at the beach. Or even the sourdoughs in the Mojave.
But, it’s all ok, no one will know it’s _me_, what with having a unique email and giving unique contact information. Naw, the PoPo and the Fire Department won’t care. Not a lick.
Shuda just taken the $40 Bubba-joe from three trailers down offered.
