I am outraged – outraged, I say – by this loading fee. It can’t cost that much to fire up the tractor and push this 30-plus year old flotsam onto a trailer. You are getting rid of this eyesore for free, but you dare charge someone to move it? Just wait until it has sat there another 10 years and you need to haul it away yourself. Then you’ll regret being greedy.

I was wrong, this wasn’t a Pet Week, it was a nautical sort of week. Oh, well.

  1. Dunno, given the price of diesel, and how long you idles tractors to get them up to operating temperature, $50 is close to break-even. Especially with the labor cost, too.

    Now, given how “minty” that sandbox is, they ought to pay people to take it away . . .
