Pet Week! Cats and Dogs posting together!
I am looking to re home our 2 year old pure bred (no papers) male we have had him since he was 9 weeks old.he has been neutered and had all shots and has a ear tattoo all papers available. he is friendly with adults and small children and all types of dogs large or small.we have a cat but he will chase her as she wants nothing to do with him and runs when she sees him. he has had basic obedience training.we are doing this as my wife and i both are still working and we are are finding that we no longer have enough time to spend with him, also he wont listen to my wife very well .he still needs more obedience training and lots of exercise as he is still full of energy.if you are interested give us a call and we can set up a time so you can come by and meet Jax. there will be a adoption fee that will be discussed.DO NOT REPLY unless YOU are interested in adopting Jax.MY questions for you will be, have you had large dogs before,do you have a fenced yard,i will want to know where you live and be able to visit your home to see what his living accommodation will be.again DO NOT reply unless YOU are interested in adopting Jax.thanks
Welcome to the first Pet Week of 2019! After yesterday’s downer, I hope this one will cheer everyone up.
**reunited with family!! Big thank you to everyone!** injured cat
I was driving up Main Street this morning at about 11:45 and several blocks before east 41st ave I found this adorable cat struggling in the middle of the road – clearly in massive amounts of distress and pain. I jumped out of the car and picked the lil one up and drove directly to an animal hospital. This poor lil one was holding on, still breathing and still. The hospital got kitty hooked up to IV right away, and is trying to find the owner. The injuries are unclear because kitty is in shock and needs to calm before they can proceed with tests. The only obvious injury is a broken k9 tooth, but kitty could have internal bleeding. I am not even 100% sure if kitty was hit by a car.. if so, the driver did not stop 😦
I left my name and number and asked the vet to call me before they do anything drastic should they not be able to find the owner immediately. I’m so sorry if this is your kitty, but I really hope myself or the vet can find the owner, and that kitty has a full cat recovery.
Ps. 1. To the woman who rolled her window down as she drove past me calling me a “fkn bitch” for stopping my vehicle to pick up the struggling cat: I hope you stub you pinky toe really hard. You’re rude.
2. To the gentleman at the bus stop who gave me $20 for my time and effort, as I was driving a Evo carshare, thank you. You are incredibly thoughtful and kind. I really appreciate your generosity and I really hope it was not a financial burden on yourself.
UPDATE**** Kitty is still in critical condition and we are having some tests done thanks to an incredible human who has reached out to take care of medical expenses. We are more then happy to open our home to kitty, but would also love to reunite him with his owner if he has one. Please e-mail, call or text if you are the owner or may know the owner! Thank you to everyone for your lovely messages, this kitty sure is feeling the love ❤

Kitty’s owners got ahold of me this afternoon!!! I am so happy to say they have reunited with there most gorgeous kitty. I am so unbelievably greatful for all the kind words and messages I have received in the past 24+. Not only kind words, kitty was also able to receive necessary tests and treatment due to the selflessness and generosity of a human who reached out with the offer to cover the vet bills. I am absolutely blown away, overwhelmed, in all the best ways!! My thoughts, I’m sure as many others are, are with kitty, and wish him a speedy recovery so he can get back to his duty of being a very loved neighbourhood cat!!
I wish you all a safe, warm, and cozy winter, surrounded by peeps and pets that love you unconditionally!!!
